Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom fixtures and fittings in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and tiling,as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal applicant will possess practical skills, attention to detail, and the physical capability to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks. Responsibilities
- Installing bathroom suites including baths, showers, sinks, toilets, and associated fixtures
- Conducting repairs and maintenance on existing bathroom installations
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools to complete installations
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and building regulations
- Measuring accurately to ensure precise fitting of components
- Assisting with the preparation of work sites by removing debris and organising materials
- Performing heavy lifting of bathroom units and materials safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace throughout each project
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress
Experience
- Proven experience in bathroom fitting or similar trade roles such as plumbing or carpentry
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, mechanical systems, and basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience working on both residential and commercial projects is desirable
- Valid driving licence for commercial driving purposes is advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrable understanding of health & safety regulations relevant to construction work

Pay: £25,420.00-£53,826.08 per year
