Summary
The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced individual to the team of our happy, hardworking and caring school. We are a vibrant and inclusive Catholic community where our pupils behave well and are committed to learn. This is a temporary contract due to budget constraints and pupil numbers.
We are looking for an individual who is:
- Able to enhance and support the Catholic vision and ethos of the school.
- A dynamic, enthusiastic, creative and knowledgeable practitioner experienced in supporting the teaching and learning within our school in KS2.
- Has high expectations for pupil learning and attainment.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team and show initiative.
- Able to assist in the monitoring/recording of pupil progress and developmental needs
- Able to support the promotion of positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and outside agencies.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) to grade C or above
Desirable Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children in KS2
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
- Experience of supporting pupils with diverse needs
Desirable Experience
- Have experience of working 1:1 with children within a classroom setting
- Experience of teaching phonics, reading and maths
- Have experience of working in a trauma informed school
