Customer Service Representative / Housekeeper
We operate a fleet of self-drive holiday and dayboats and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team. The successful applicant must have a basic knowledge of computers, including word and excel and a good telephone manner. – The Housekeeper duties consists of some cleaning duties, including our office, the inside of boats and some laundry work.
The applicant must be presentable and a good timekeeper.
The job consists of 5 days out of 7 which must include Fridays and Saturdays and a minimum of 1 Sunday a month during the months April to October. During the winter months the days are generally Monday to Friday with weekends off.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to holiday guests
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
- Assist with check-in and check-out processes
- Process reservations
- Provide information about boat amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions
- Proficiency in using computer systems and management software
