Housing Officer
Location: Chester
Pay Rate: £18.48 per hour

Seven Resourcing is recruiting for a motivated and experienced Housing Officer to join a busy housing service in Chester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional who is confident managing a varied caseload, supporting tenants and residents, and delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service. You will work across the local area, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of housing and tenancy-related matters
- Provide advice and support to tenants, residents and other service users
- Conduct property visits, tenancy inspections and home visits as required
- Support effective tenancy management and help resolve housing-related issues
- Investigate and respond to complaints, anti-social behaviour and tenancy concerns
- Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure all relevant documentation is completed
- Deliver a professional, responsive and customer-focused housing service
- Ensure work is carried out in line with relevant housing legislation, policies and procedures
Applicant Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Housing Officer, Tenancy Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or in a similar housing role
- Strong knowledge of housing and tenancy management
- Experience managing a busy and varied caseload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal confidently with challenging situations and resolve issues effectively
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport for work-related travel
