About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Practitioner in our Aberdeen Justice Outreach Service where no 2 days are the same.
As a Lead Practitioner, you will:
- Provide person-centred outreach support to individuals who are involved in the Justice system.
- Support people to re-integrate into communities and develop skills for independent living.
- Ensure individuals are supported to exercise their rights and to make informed choices.
- Work with multi-agency partners to plan, deliver and review support.
About You
You will have a genuine commitment to use your skills to support people to reach their full potential. You will recognise the challenges and barriers that individuals involved in the Justice system may face, and will be passionate about helping people overcome these.
Previous working experience is desired; however, full training will be provided to you.
You will have flexibility to work occasional weekends.

About Us – Aberdeen
Turning Point Scotland‘s Aberdeen Justice Outreach service provides support to individuals involved in the Justice system to reintegrate into communities, manage periods of transition and sustain tenancies independently. Support is designed to enable individuals to develop core skills for independent living.
The service supports people who may have multiple needs which could be related to various issues including mental or physical health problems, alcohol and other drug use, finance and employment.
We work in partnership with key agencies, such as Justice Social Work, Housing Providers, Police Scotland, and Scottish Prison Service to offer person-centred support to individuals who may be facing complex and challenging situations.
