About the role
Yew Coffee is looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking full time team member to join our busy café in Newry.
This is a hands on role in a fast paced environment. You will be working as part of a friendly team, serving customers and helping to keep the café running smoothly.
Working hours
Applicants must be fully flexible to work shifts during the following hours:
Monday to Friday, 6.00 am to 9.30 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
These are the hours within which shifts may be scheduled, not the length of each shift.
Please note, this position is not suitable for students due to the flexibility and availability required.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide excellent service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Prepare and serve food and drinks
- Keep the café clean, organised and well presented
- Support other team members during busy periods
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Complete cleaning and end of shift clean down duties

Experience and training
Previous café, barista or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
Full barista training will be provided.
