We are a boutique dog grooming salon in Reigate, Surrey specialising in tailored one on one appointments.
We are looking for an experienced full time dog groomer, with previous grooming experience, to help run our ever-growing business. There is future opportunity for this same individual to branch into our Dog Grooming Training Academy to train those that want to start their journey in this industry and receive additional financial benefits in correlation with this. This is only if of interest.
The Paw Shed is a family-run salon with one floor selling retail, the other with 4 grooming tables with a further 2 private salons for any nervous pups. This offers the privacy that some dogs need but the company and support for us as groomers!
For this role we need the individual to be confident interacting and dealing with customers, organised and patient! The individual will be helping run the salon, so they are expected to be confident and able to groom independently.
The day-to-day responsibilities are as follows:
- Interact with customers upon arrival and collection
- Groom dogs including washing, clipping and stripping
- Cleaning the salon and monitoring/replenishing products
- Day to day diary management and dealing with new enquiries
We are open throughout the week and groom on average 5 dogs a day. We are based in Reigate and our first appointment of the day is a 9am and close at 6pm. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Salary varies depending on experience and naturally correlates with hours.
