Contract Labour Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Joiner to work with our client who is an established construction company, with work taking place in the Hull and the Yorkshire area.
Pay: £25ph
Duration: Ongoing
Role: Candidates will be completing the following tasks.
- Installing and fitting fire doors in line with project specifications, manufacturer guidelines and fire safety regulations
- Carrying out remedial works on existing fire doors, including repairs, adjustments and upgrades where required
- Inspecting fire doors to identify defects, damage, incorrect installation or compliance issues
- Adjusting hinges, frames, intumescent strips, seals, closers and ironmongery to ensure correct operation
- Replacing damaged or unsuitable fire door components
- Ensuring fire doors meet required standards for functionality, security and fire resistance
- Completing snagging works and rectification of identified issues
- Reading and following drawings, schedules and site instructions
- Working alongside site management and other trades to complete works safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records of completed works and reporting any issues identified on site
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with health and safety procedures and site requirements
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised throughout the project
Requirements: Candidates will be need to show the following.
- A valid CSCS Card
- Own tools and PPE
- Must have experience completing fire doors.
