Play an important role at AMMA Childcare Services, who specialise in care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, taking a holistic approach to care. We ensure that all aspects of a young person’s development are accounted for in order to inform our tailored therapeutic approach for them.
About the role
As Deputy Manager you will support the Registered Manager with shaping and delivering the residential home’s Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same. You’ll provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people to flourish as well as promoting health and well-being, education, positive relationships, independence, and activities in accordance with the children’s homes regulations.
About You
You will have solid experience working at Senior level in a Residential Children’s Care home or within a Mental Health support role. You will also have knowledge and experience of Safeguarding practices. An understanding and experience of working with young people with Emotional and/or Behavioural difficulties is required as well as the ability to work in challenging environments and leading excellence in care.
We are looking for professional & caring individuals who are able to work closely Management to ensure best practise within the Home. Experience working in a therapeutic environment is highly advantageous.
You must have or be working towards your Level 4 Diploma for Residential Childcare. An equivalent qualification will be considered.
