Job Description
The Assistant Manager / Supervisor will support the General Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the pub. This includes hands-on bar work, shift leadership, and ensuring great customer experiences throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting daily pub operations (opening, closing, and managing shifts)
- Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment
- Assisting in planning, promoting, and hosting sports events and community activities
- Supervising bar staff and ensuring good teamwork and communication
- Handling tills, cashing up, and basic stock responsibilities
- Upholding cleanliness, safety, and operational standards throughout the pub
- Acting as the responsible person when the General Manager is not present
The person in this role will be an important point of stability within the team and a key part of keeping the pub organised, safe, and enjoyable for both staff and customers.

- Experience working in a bar or hospitality environment (supervisor experience is a bonus)
- Reliable, honest, and confident working independently
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, steady personality

Pay: £13.50 per hour

- Aberdeen AB12 3HE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
