Empowering Learning is looking for qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Assistant to work within a busy and well-established nursery in Bromborough.
We are seeking enthusiastic professionals who can provide children with high-quality care, engaging activities and a positive start to their early education.
Candidates must hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare, early years, nursery nursing or a related subject.
The position will involve:
- Supporting the care and development of children aged 0-5
- Delivering creative and play-based learning activities
- Working in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Encouraging children's personal, social and emotional development
- Assisting with meals, changing and nursery routines
- Observing children and contributing to progress records
- Maintaining positive relationships with parents and colleagues
- Following safeguarding and health and safety policies
Essential criteria:
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare or nursery qualification
- Nursery or early years experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
- Suitable professional references
