The Senior Technician role
We are looking for experienced senior paint sprayers and bodyshop technicians to join our Quality Assurance team.
As a Senior Technician you will be supporting the Quality Assurance team and Sector Managers to achieve performance and quality standards. You will be responsible for maintaining quality levels across the business and undertaking customer service repairs. Communication with the leadership team is a key responsibility to ensure our mobile technicians are supported and any areas for training and development are identified.
You will be responsible for your own, fully equipped Shine Mercedes van which will be provided to you. Your key tasks will involve ensuring any customer service concerns are dealt with and issues are evaluated and reported accordingly.
Your role will also involve providing support to our mobile technicians while promoting Shine’s culture and values.

Essentials for the role
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of vehicle bodywork and paint repair methods, with technical knowledge to complete work to an excellent standard
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to achieving excellent repair and finish standards
- Ability to handle customer service situations professionally, remaining calm and focussed on achieving a positive solution
- Experience with water-based paint and 2k clearcoats
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions while working remotely
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to travel where required (no fixed office)
- Full UK driving licence
Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
