Chef de Partie – Black Horse Beamish, Red Row Estate
Both full time and part time positions available

Set within 37 acres of stunning countryside in the Beamish Valley conservation area, The Red Row Estate is home to the award‑winning Black Horse Beamish pub & restaurant, the elegant Orchard Marquee, the charming George Ridley Suite, and a collection of luxury on‑site accommodation including 18 boutique bedrooms and two cottages.
Our kitchen team delivers high‑quality dishes across weddings, private events, and our busy restaurant. As our estate continues to grow, we’re looking for skilled and motivated Chef de Parties to take ownership of their section and help us maintain the exceptional standards we’re known for.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on kitchen role where you’ll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard. You’ll work closely with the senior chefs to ensure smooth service across all areas of the estate.
You’ll support menu preparation, maintain excellent food safety standards, and contribute to the positive, professional atmosphere within the kitchen. This is a great opportunity for a chef who wants to develop their skills within a supportive and ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your section confidently during service
- Prepare and cook dishes to specification and high presentation standards
- Support menu development and daily prep
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety practices
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and waste management
- Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail in every dish
- Contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture

- Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
