Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties
- Perform detailed inspections using schematics and technical manuals to identify mechanical issues accurately
- Repair, replace, or overhaul vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, PDI's
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime
- Be responsible for dealing with aftersales care including in house warranty repairs
- Booking in cars effectively and efficiently to keep customers back on the road
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs for future reference and compliance
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical repair tools
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and preventive care practices
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with customers in after sales
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Prior experience working with vehicle diagnostics systems is essential
- Own hand tools absolutely essential
Pay: £26,424.22-£50,000.00 per year
