AMS Recovery Trucks
We are one of UK's largest distributors of Recovery Truck Vehicles, we make and design our vehicles in house and sell primarily to the UK Market and at times abroad. We have two large sites based in Wisbech. We are a well established company but we can see the need to grow and are currently building extra facilities to deal with the high input of sales.
We are seeking someone with good knowledge to work in a fast paced working environment with a can do attitude.
Job Overview
What you will be doing
- Creating high quality looms for commercial vehicles, these looms need to be resistant to water ingress etc.
- Create electrical diagrams for customers to follow for their vehicle body types and models.
- Standardize the process and make the electrical system "plug & Play".
- Using your knowledge you will making improvements to the current electrical systems and advance them further with new concepts.
- Installing them on the trucks.
- Ideally looking to run a small team in the long term.

- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations

Qualifications
- Proven experience as an auto electrician specialising in commercial or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Good IT Skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Self Motivated
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive or electrical engineering are desirable but not essential.

Pay: £28,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
