Job Title: Plant/Attachments Fitter
Salary: £32,000.00 - £40,000.00
Location: Bridgwater
Shift: 42.5 Hrs (Mon-Fri Days)
As a result of continued growth, we are excited to be recruiting for a Plant/Attachment Fitter to join our Attachments Team. If you’re hands-on, safety-focused, and enjoy working with construction machinery, this could be the perfect role for you.
Plant/Attachments Fitter - About the Role
You will support the attachments division to ensure equipment is delivered, fitted, and maintained to a high standard of customer service. The role is varied, practical, and site-based, working with hydraulic excavator attachments and supporting both customers and internal teams.
Plant/Attachments Fitter - Key Responsibilities
- Deliver attachments to customers
- Attend on-site installations and breakdowns
- Adjust excavator hydraulic flows and pressure settings (full training provided)
- Carry out repairs on hire fleet equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and yard
- Follow strict health & safety procedures at all times
Plant/Attachments Fitter - Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience with hydraulic excavator attachments (preferred)
- Basic understanding of construction machinery
- Full clean driving licence
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Plant/Attachments Fitter - Requirements
- Forklift/telehandler certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems (training provided)
