About the Role
We are looking for an organised, motivated, and proactive Administrator / Credit Controller to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, people-focused environment and wants to play a key role in delivering a high-quality occupational health service.
You will be the main point of contact between clients, clinicians, and internal teams, helping to ensure appointments, administration, reporting, and customer service run smoothly. You will also support our financial processes, including invoicing and credit control.
Following successful completion of your 6-month probationary period, your hourly rate will increase, and you will become eligible to join our team incentive commission structure, rewarding your contribution to the success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities Occupational Health Administration
- Coordinate occupational health appointments, assessments, and health surveillance programmes
- Act as the main point of contact for client enquiries and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance
- Prepare reports, documentation, and client communications
- Provide administrative support to Occupational Health Advisors and Physicians
- Assist with case management administration and follow-up actions
Invoicing & Credit Control
- Prepare and issue accurate client invoices within agreed timescales
- Monitor outstanding payments and support proactive credit control
- Liaise with clients regarding invoices, billing queries, and payment arrangements
- Work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate records
- Ensure processes meet company standards and audit requirements
Team & Service Coordination
- Support improvements to administrative processes and workflows
- Assist with onboarding new clients and setting up service requirements
- Provide general organisational support to the wider Occupational Health team
- Contribute positively to a professional, supportive team environment
About You
You will ideally have:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within healthcare, HR, or a service-led environment
- Experience with invoicing, credit control, or financial administration
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
- Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and client management software
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
