Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being and mental health
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update client records regularly
- Support clients with medication reminders or assistance as directed by care plans
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to health and safety protocols
- Basic IT literacy for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation duties
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients
