Job Summary
Deliver an effective, efficient and customer focused service in line with Corporate Policies and within national, regional and local legislative requirements, transport policy and funding requirements relating to electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Provide high quality and comprehensive technical, administrative and project support to the Transport Planning and Policy service, with a focus on the delivery of electric vehicle charge point projects across the borough.
Support resident enquiries, site selection, consultation, reporting, governance, licence agreements and project management activity for EV charging sites, including Housing Revenue Account estate-based locations.
Deliver a flexible, positive and responsive service that meets customer and programme demands, including working across different workstreams and deadlines as required.
Keep up to date with developments and practices relating to electric vehicle charging, sustainable transport, consultation processes, programme reporting and Council procedures.
Key Responsibility
· Responding to resident enquiries and supporting clear, customer-focused communication about EV charging.
· Supporting desktop site reviews, site selection and delivery planning for EV charge point locations.
· Coordinating consultation notices, reviewing consultation responses and preparing clear draft responses.
· Preparing records of decision and supporting documentation, including accurate cross-referencing of consultation evidence and site information.
· Coordinating Department of Transport and internal programme reporting.
· Supporting Housing Revenue Account estate-based EV charging sites, licence agreements and wider project management activity.
Pay: £24,420.00-£41,119.43 per year
