Cleaner / Housekeeper – Short-Term Rental Properties
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Cleaner/Housekeeper to join the team at Brunel Stays.
Our properties are at the heart of what we do, and we take great pride in presenting every home to an exceptionally high, 5-star standard for our guests.
This role is about much more than simply cleaning. You will be responsible for ensuring each property is spotless, fresh, welcoming and guest-ready, with every detail checked before our next guests arrive.
You will play an important role in maintaining the high standards that Brunel Stays is built around and helping us deliver an excellent experience for every guest.
Duties
- Thoroughly clean and prepare short-term rental properties between guest stays.
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors throughout the property.
- Dust and clean all surfaces, furniture, fixtures and fittings.
- Deep clean and sanitise kitchens, bathrooms and other high-use areas.
- Clean mirrors, glass and windows where required.
- Change and professionally present bed linen and towels.
- Ensure beds are made to a high hotel-style standard.
- Restock guest essentials and report when supplies are running low.
- Check that the property is presented neatly, professionally and ready for guests.
- Pay close attention to small details that can make a big difference to the guest experience.
- Identify and report any damage, maintenance issues, missing items or potential hazards.
- Follow Brunel Stays cleaning and presentation standards consistently.
- Work efficiently within the allocated cleaning time while never compromising on quality.
- Carry out final checks to ensure every property meets our 5-star guest-ready standard.

- Experienced in cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality is desirable, but the right attitude and work ethic are equally important.
