As a Wellness Host, you will support colleagues in getting the most from the wellness facilities and digital tools, while helping to maintain a safe, inviting and well-organised space.
Job Description
As a Wellness Host, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive wellness environment. You will engage with colleagues using the facilities, helping them feel confident in navigating both the physical space and digital wellness tools.
You will take pride in maintaining a clean, presentable and safe environment across all areas, including studios, changing facilities and shared spaces. Your presence will ensure that colleagues feel supported throughout their visit.
Working closely with digital systems, you will support bookings, memberships and user queries through CRM platforms. You will also help promote wellbeing initiatives, encouraging engagement and building awareness of available services.
This role offers variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the daily wellbeing of others, while developing your own knowledge of health, fitness and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and positive welcome to all colleagues using the wellness facilities
- Act as a helpful point of contact for questions, guidance and support within the space
- Support colleagues in using digital wellness tools and systems confidently
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across all wellness areas
- Monitor facilities such as studios, lockers and changing rooms to ensure readiness
- Manage bookings, memberships and updates using CRM systems
- Promote wellness services through face to face engagement and internal channels
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Log and coordinate maintenance or service requests with relevant teams
- Carry out daily administrative tasks to support smooth running of the facilities
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- A genuine interest in health, wellbeing and fitness
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A friendly and approachable style when supporting others
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and digital systems comfortably
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Awareness of health and safety practices in shared spaces
- Confidence in understanding boundaries when offering guidance
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
