Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Self Employed Window Cleaner to join our professional team. This role involves cleaning windows of various heights and locations, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking an active role with flexible working hours. Working in a team to start but once the role is established, the right candidate will have the opportunity to work independently driving and managing one of our vans. Commission available to the right person keen to earn more.
Duties
- Clean windows on residential, commercial, and industrial properties using the water fed pole system.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as squeegees, brushes, and ladders safely and effectively
- Ensure all work areas are kept safe and hazard-free during operations
- Maintain equipment in good condition and report any repairs needed
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
- Cleaning and clearing of gutters, fascias and soffits with professional gutter vacs and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Previous experience in window cleaning or similar roles is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Physically fit with the capability to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely
