We’re looking for a caring person to join our Funeralcare team. Some experience would be preferable, but not essential. A genuine desire to help people at the time they need it most is important. We will help you learn the skills you need to deliver a first-class funeral service and support you with training from the get-go.
As a funeral arranger you’ll often be the first point of contact for clients – understanding their needs and helping them to plan the funeral. It’ll be down to you to be there for clients when they need our help, support or advice.
- a passion for delivering great service and building positive relationships
- an open mind when it comes to working around and coming into contact with the deceased, both prepared and unprepared
- high levels of empathy, discretion and care
- a natural ability to really understand and deliver all the clients’ needs
- an appreciation that there’s only one chance to deliver the perfect final tribute
- excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
· Caring, and organised, our Funeral Arrangers are a very special part of our team; offering a warm welcome and guiding our families through the whole funeral process. They couple their incredible interpersonal and listening skills, with an eye for detail and accurate administrative skills.
· As well as supporting families in making funeral arrangements, Funeral Arrangers are responsible for ensuring all the relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately, and on time. They are also responsible for providing a detailed handover to the Funeral Director, in order that every little detail goes to plan on the day.
