What youll be doing
Working as part of a supportive and experienced team, you will:
- Deliver a significant programme of civil engineering and highway design projects.
- Manage projects, budgets and resources from inception through to completion.
- Develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
- Provide technical advice and support across a range of services.
- Support the management of the Councils highway structures.
- Work closely with developers, contractors, consultants and partner organisations.
- Support and mentor junior members of the team.
- Contribute to service improvements and the development of future engineering solutions.

About you
You will have:
- A degree or recognised professional qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering complex highway or infrastructure schemes.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience using AutoCAD and related engineering software.
- Knowledge of construction-related legislation and standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement.
