Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible to both the Engineering Manager & Engineering
Director for providing leadership within the Engineering Department and for the maintenance and
presentation of the fleet of buses to both the Company’s and the Department of Transport’s
exacting standards. -
Regularly review engineering practices to look for improvement opportunities and efficiency
savings. -
Take a proactive role in improving vehicle reliability including developing action plans to reduce
repeat defects and identify opportunities to reduce lost mileage. -
Applicants should have a proven track record of supervisory management and staff motivation
and a customer caring attitude to problem solving. Given the wide range of the role you must be
able to demonstrate excellent prioritising skills, as well as decision making and organisational
abilities. -
Ensure that we are delivering safe and reliable vehicles to our customers and adhering to all
appropriate legislation.
Required:

Recent engineering supervisory experience preferred (preferably on PCV or HGV vehicles).

NVQ Level 3 in relevant engineering trade essential.

Possession of a Full Manual car licence is essential, and a PCV licence is preferred.
