Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dryliner Fixer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing a Fire Rated drywall partition to BG spec on a commercial project. Your expertise will contribute to creating smooth, durable surfaces that meet high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels and partition systems accurately according to project specifications and schematics
- Prepare surfaces by applying plastering techniques or masonry work to ensure a seamless finish
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, fastening, and finishing drywall components
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks such as roofing, plumbing, electrical wiring, welding, and fabrication as needed on site
- Follow construction drawings and schematics precisely to ensure proper placement and alignment of drywall systems
- Perform construction painting and finishing work to achieve a polished appearance
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in drywall installation, plastering, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of building techniques
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, carpentry, and fabrication processes is highly desirable
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings for accurate installation
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment in a construction setting
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical instructions effectively
- Prior experience working on commercial or residential projects involving multiple trades is preferred

£200 per day paid via CIS
