Who are we?
MattB Customs is an exclusive custom footwear and accessory customisation brand working from our office in Manchester and studio in the Trafford Centre. We create unique handcrafted custom products that you can’t find on the high street or anywhere else.
We work with some of the biggest celebrities in the world including Ariana Grande, Marcus Rashford and Ed Sheeran, and collaborate with global brands such as Google, JD Sports and Netflix.
We're looking for a confident, organised and proactive individual to be a key part of our Trafford Centre team.
The Role
As a concession Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of our customisation booth, delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring everything operates smoothly.
You'll spend much of your day engaging with customers, discussing customisation options, supervising artists and representing the MattB Customs brand.
As well as serving customers and supervising artists, you'll also be creating custom orders, whether it be hand painting, applying vinyl, sewing or cutting & glueing etc.
Experience in customisation is not required, as everything will be taught in house, however, an interest in hands on creative work is necessary.
This is a hands-on role that combines retail, customer service, organisation and creativity.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people but also has a creative eye and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The position is full-time and based at our Trafford Centre studio in Manchester.
Working hours are between 8:30am - 10:30pm (8-hour shifts) Monday - Sunday. Shifts are worked on a 4 week rota basis, averaging 35 hours per week with 2 days off per week. Evening and weekend availability is essential.
General Responsibilities
- Delivering outstanding customer service at our Trafford Centre customisation booth
- Welcoming customers and discussing customisation options
- Managing customer enquiries and order updates
- Supervising the day-to-day running of the Trafford Centre location
- Maintaining high visual and operational standards within the workspace
- Creating digital mock-up designs on iPad for customer approvals
- Assisting with hand-painting and customising footwear orders
- Performing quality checks on completed orders
- Packaging and preparing customer orders for collection
- Assisting with stock management
- Supporting the wider team to ensure deadlines are met
