The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and organised Sales & Customer Service Administrator to join our team.
As a key member of the business, you'll provide first-class support to our customers and sales team, managing enquiries, quotations and orders while helping to deliver the high standards of service that have earned Charles Endirect its reputation over the last 40 years.
Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Production, Purchasing and Dispatch, you'll help ensure every customer receives a professional, responsive and efficient service from their initial enquiry through to delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Sales Office Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers and sales team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently using our business systems.
- Preparing customer quotations and following up where appropriate.
- Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email, professional support.
- Advising customers on product selection, availability, pricing and delivery schedules.
- Keeping customers informed of any changes to orders, including pricing or delivery updates.
- Directing enquiries to the appropriate colleague where specialist technical support is required.
- Supporting our Area Sales Managers and Key Account customers to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Identifying opportunities to promote our products and provide additional value to customers where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Sales Office.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.

- Support our commitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
- Undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role as the business continues to grow.

About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in a customer service, sales administration or office administration role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and confident telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A positive, proactive and flexible approach.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment would be an advantage, but full product training will be provided.
