Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive CCTV Control Room Operator to oversee surveillance operations within our security control station based in Old Swan Liverpool.
We are looking for an individual who is happy to work alone, you will monitor live video feeds, alarms, ensure the safety and security of premises, and respond swiftly to incidents. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to safety will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets.

If you hold a CCTV, door supervisor licence, a close protection licence, or a security guarding licence all is suitable.
This job will involve working in our in house CCTV monitoring station. Dealing with CCTV alarms, responding to incidents, dealing with client and employee queries via telephone calls.
- Monitoring CCTV cameras on numerous locations throughout the North West
- Polite and friendly telephone manner
- Able to work as a team or a lone worker
- 28- 45 hours per week
- Night shifts (12 - 14 hours per shift)
- Start date can be flexible
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor multiple CCTV camera feeds and alarms to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct regular visual inspections of surveillance equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Document all incidents accurately through detailed report writing, including descriptions of events and actions taken
- Respond promptly to alarms or alerts generated by surveillance systems or security personnel
- Collaborate with emergency responders and internal teams during incidents, providing critical information as needed
- Maintain comprehensive logs of surveillance activities, shift reports, and incident records
- Assist in conducting routine checks of the control room environment and surveillance infrastructure to uphold operational standards
Pay: £13.81 per hour
