Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team in a hospitality or food service environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent guest services, assisting with food and meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards and safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet company specifications
- Deliver excellent guest services by attending to customer needs courteously and efficiently
- Handle phone enquiries professionally, providing information and taking reservations or orders as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support delivery operations if applicable, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Manage meal preparation tasks, including plating and portion control
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures at all times
- Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and cooperation
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service roles such as restaurant work, hotel services, or catering is highly desirable
- Experience as a delivery driver or in meal delivery services is advantageous
- Skills in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations are beneficial
- Familiarity with guest services, serving techniques, and phone etiquette is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and protocols is essential
- Experience working in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or hotels will be considered an asset
- Strong communication skills combined with a friendly demeanour are important for success in this role
Pay: £12.75-£14.00 per hour
