We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Lego Club Supervisor to run a weekly after-school Lego Club at a primary school in West Malling, Kent (ME19 postcode area). This role gives children the opportunity to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence through fun, hands-on building challenges in a safe and supportive environment.
The club runs weekly from September onwards, Fridays, 3:15pm – 4:15pm (1 hour per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a small group of primary-aged children in engaging Lego activities and building challenges.
- Plan and deliver enjoyable, age-appropriate sessions that encourage creativity, imagination, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Support children in developing fine motor skills, resilience, and confidence through play-based learning.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children's participation and progress.
- Ensure all Lego resources and the activity space are organised, safe, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
- Experience working with children in schools, clubs, childcare, or similar educational settings.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire children in a structured yet fun and inclusive environment.
- Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
- A background in childcare, education, youth work, or experience leading creative or enrichment activities is desirable.
Pay: £30.00 per hour
