Manufacturing of specialist A-2-Sea products (electrical and mechanical) which support the subsea internet cable industry
Perform day to day assembly, test procedures and commissioning of A-2-Sea products
Accurately follow assembly processes and drawings, as per A-2-Sea ISO Quality procedures
Assembling, calibration and commission of equipment and products
Final packaging and preparation for shipment to customers
Maintenance, repair and upgrade of customer owned equipment
Input to development and qualification of new products – and provide feedback to the design department for document change requirements
Creation of commissioning reports, technical reports, and assembly instructions
Mentor junior staff, conduct regular performance reviews, identify skills gaps, manage training initiatives, and technology transfers
3 + years’ in a similar role with supervisory experience
Have a good knowledge of material selection, wiring methods and machining capabilities for electrical and mechanical manufacturing purposes
Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and under instruction while prioritizing a busy workload and meeting deadlines
