Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing café, bar, events and office delivery services
- Recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining a high-performing team
- Creating effective rotas and ensuring staffing levels reflect business demand

- Taking ownership of the customer journey and overall guest experience
- Building a strong and collaborative relationship with the client and key stakeholders
- Overseeing events from planning through to successful delivery
- Managing budgets, labour, stock, purchasing and operational costs
- Monitoring sales and performance and identifying opportunities to grow revenue and improve profitability
- Ensuring excellent health & safety, food safety, licensing and compliance standards
- Developing efficient operating procedures across all areas of the site
- Working closely with culinary, events and support teams to deliver a seamless service
- Driving continuous improvement and introducing new ideas that keep the offer fresh and relevant
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident taking ownership of a complex operation and equally comfortable on the floor, with a client or reviewing the numbers.
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong operational management experience within hospitality, contract catering, workplace dining, hotels, restaurants or a multi-outlet venue
• Experience managing multiple revenue streams or service styles within one location
• A proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams
• Strong commercial awareness, including labour, stock, budgeting and P&L management
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
• Experience delivering events and hospitality
• A passion for great food, drink and customer experience
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to make decisions
• Flexibility to support occasional evening events as part of the operation
What Success Looks Like
You’ll create a site that feels joined-up, energetic and exceptionally well run — where customers receive a great experience whether they’re grabbing breakfast, ordering lunch to the office, attending an event or enjoying a drink at the bar.
- This is an opportunity for an experienced hospitality operator to take real ownership of a varied site, develop a talented team and shape an operation with multiple opportunities for growth.
