Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa is the Lake District's first resort on Lake Windermere. Nestled on the shores of Lake Windermere, in the heart of the National Park Low Wood Bay is the perfect base for relaxing and exploring the Lakes.
Due to expansion, we now have fantastic opportunities for you to join our growing team to help create enjoyable and memorable experiences in our Spa. Fantastic benefits, including service charge which adds £100+ to your monthly wage!
Why Choose Low Wood Bay?
You will be working in a family run, friendly and supportive environment where we encourage you to reach your full potential. The position will offer you an opportunity to work in a beautiful location with spectaculars views across the Lake Windermere, and there is nothing better than to start your day with that view. You will be a part of an exceptional team of around 40 employees which strives to deliver exceptional customer service to each other and to our guests.
About the position
What can we say? Imagine working in arguably the best Spa in the North West where our team and customers are treated with equal respect and care.
Our Spa Coordinators generally have a customer service background, have an eye for detail, love to organise, talk, and are just all-round kind and happy people.
A typical day for you would include the opportunity to meet and greet our excited guests who can’t wait to be shown around the Spa, learn all about the different experiences and settle into a day of relaxation by the pool with cocktails. You might then take a stroll around the spa, puffing the occasional cushion, arranging some flowers, chatting with guests, or hunting out the honeymooners to pass on our best wishes. You’ll spend your time showing guests where to go for the next part of their experience, telling them about your favourite treatment or cocktail. When their day comes to an end, you’ll be there to say goodbye and welcome our next lucky guests.
Another day you may be manning the reception desk at the Spa. Greeting guests and checking them in, making sure they know what their day entails and guiding them where to go. You might be answering telephone or email enquiries, and taking bookings for the Spa.
Our Spa Assistants will look to you for the secret wink or nod when the Hens need a top up of Champagne or when someone needs a fresh towel. You will be our eyes and ears making sure every little detail is perfect. We let you take care of the detail; we want you to turn the experience into something exceptional
If you’re well presented, personable, and genuinely engaging, then we’d love to talk to you, show you around our fantastic spa and introduce you to a few of our passionate team members.
As well as your wage, you will be paid a service charge which is based on hours worked.
