Responsibilities
- Lead daily nursery operations, ensuring high standards of childcare and early childhood education are maintained.
- Supervise and support nursery staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective management and leadership.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children’s development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains.
- Communicate clearly with parents and guardians about children’s progress, needs, and daily experiences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and licensing requirements at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s development, attendance, and other administrative documentation.
- Support the recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development of nursery staff to uphold quality standards.
Experience
- Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare setting or early childhood education environment.
- Extensive experience working directly with children in nurseries or similar settings.
- Strong knowledge of childcare practices, child development principles, and early childhood education frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
- Ability to demonstrate management skills such as team coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate transportation or outreach activities when necessary.

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
