Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mould Joiner specialising in Precast concrete Facade Panels to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and maintaining moulds used in the production of precast concrete panels. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry processes, proficiency with production machinery and hand power tools, and the ability to work safely within a fast-paced environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in carpentry, joinery, or bench joinery
Duties
- Construct, assemble, and repair moulds for precast concrete facade panels using specialised tools and techniques.
- Utilise machinery and hand tools/power tools to shape, cut, and finish mould parts to precise specifications.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve mould assembly issues efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure moulds meet quality standards and production schedules.
- Assist in the setup of moulds in the works as required, ensuring proper handling and positioning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in precision carpentry/joinery. Apprentice trained tradesmen will be considered
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to working with heavy equipment and materials
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
