Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires a friendly demeanour, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle guest enquiries efficiently. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist our diverse clientele. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage guest reservations accurately using the hotel management system
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries both in person and via telephone, maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
- Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Process payments securely and issue receipts as required
- Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and organised at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel reception or customer service roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest service skills are essential
- Experience in hospitality or related fields will be considered an asset

Pay: £26,436.80-£26,500.00 per year
