We are seeking a dedicated Ventilation Cleaner to join our team around the North-West London area.
This role involves the thorough cleaning and maintenance of ventilation systems to ensure optimal airflow and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Clean and inspect ventilation ducts, vents, and related components using specialised tools and equipment
- Utilise hand tools such as screwdrivers, brushes, and scrapers to remove debris and build-up from ventilation systems
- Operate power tools safely to facilitate efficient cleaning processes
- Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of ventilation components as needed for thorough cleaning
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent hazards during work activities
- Maintain organisation of work areas, ensuring all equipment is stored correctly after use
- Report any damage or issues identified during cleaning procedures to supervisors for prompt resolution
Skills
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is highly desirable
- Construction experience or familiarity with building maintenance tasks will be advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in completing cleaning tasks effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift, carry, and manoeuvre equipment or materials as required
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting of work progress or concerns
