This is a hands-on role for someone who can take an idea from script to screen — writing content, directing presenters and guests, and operating cameras, sound, and lighting to capture professional-quality recordings.
You'll be a key creative voice in our studio, working closely with our editing team to bring each piece of content to life.

- Direct presenters and guests during recordings, keeping performances natural and on-message
- Set up and operate cameras, microphones, and lighting for multi-camera recordings
- Operate the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO for live switching and multi-camera capture
- Monitor audio and video quality throughout sessions, adjusting as needed
- Brief and collaborate with video editors to shape the final cut
- Organise and manage recorded media files
- Contribute creative ideas for new content formats and podcast episodes
- Maintain studio equipment and keep the workspace recording-ready
Requirements
- Proven experience scripting and directing podcast or video content
- Strong working knowledge of cameras, microphones, and lighting setups
- Hands-on experience with the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO or similar switchers
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (for briefing editors and light hands-on editing where needed)
- Confidence directing presenters/guests and adapting in the moment
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating scripting, direction, and shooting work
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and take creative ownership of projects
- A sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of visual and audio quality
What We Offer
- Creative ownership of podcast and video content from concept to camera
- Modern studio equipment and a growing media team
- Opportunity to shape the creative direction of a rapidly expanding media business
- Career growth and development opportunities
