Team Leader /Housekeeper Job Description
Due to our continuous growth we are looking for a team leader. Responsibilities of a Team Leader are, Collecting kit in the morning packing all the equipment you will need for the day. Cleaning your own areas in clients properties and performing spot checks to ensure all work undertaken is to standard. Filling in time sheets on behalf of yourself and other housekeepers. Then returning all the kit to the office at the end of the day. We do travel to and between properties as part of our daily work, travel time is paid and there is access to a company vehicle. Hours of work are between 9.00am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday. It would be an advantage for occasional weekend availability.
Housekeeper duties
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitising of toilets, showers/ bathtubs, countertops and sinks
- Maintaining a clean and sanitised kitchen area
- Making beds and changing linens
- Washing windows (insides)
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
- Sweeping/ vacuuming, mopping of hard floors
- Ironing bed linen
- Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Emptying rubbish in to correct refuge bins
- Reporting any damage to properties or equipment
- Attention to detail
Housekeeper Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in housekeeping to meet high standards. Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment and products safely. Listening skills to ensure clients needs are met. Good customer service skills. Reliability, organisation skills, integrity and honesty.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
