Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician either part time or full time to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with various tools. An mot licence is favourable but not essential ,This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic automotive environment, contributing to the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and replacements
- Maintain detailed records of work carried out on each vehicle
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Test vehicles post-repair to confirm proper functioning before returning to customers
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair or maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

No Saturdays , we close at 5pm and hours and salary are negotiable
