Hybrid with flexibility to work from any Rolls-Royce SMR location, including Derby, Warrington or Manchester.
At Rolls-Royce SMR, we are transforming the future of clean energy. By developing and deploying next-generation Small Modular Reactors, we are helping to deliver secure, affordable, low-carbon electricity that will power communities for generations to come. This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in one of the UK's most ambitious engineering and energy programmes.
You will join our Engineering organisation, reporting to the Head of Engineering Operating System and working closely with multidisciplinary engineering leaders across the programme. As the leader of our Integrated Product Support function, you will manage a growing team of engineers and technical specialists focused on ensuring maintainability, reliability, availability and operational readiness are embedded into the design from the outset. The team plays a critical role in supporting regulatory activities, influencing design decisions across the entire power station and shaping the future operating strategy for a first-of-a-kind nuclear technology.
As Senior Manager, Integrated Product Support (Design for Maintenance & Availability), you will provide strategic and technical leadership for the development of supportability, maintenance and availability solutions across the Rolls-Royce SMR Power Station. Working at the intersection of engineering design, operations and regulatory delivery, you will ensure that Examination, Maintenance, Inspection and Testing (EMIT) requirements are considered throughout the design lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to influence major programme decisions, build capability within a growing function and help create a power station that is designed for long-term operational success.
