This is a strategic leadership role with real influence. You will set the direction for cyber security across the Service, strengthen our resilience against a changing threat landscape, and ensure cyber risk is understood, managed and acted on at every level of the organisation. The Role:
What You’ll Be Doing:
Set the cyber security vision, strategy and roadmap for prevention, detection and response.
Lead cyber security governance, assurance and compliance, aligned to ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, CAF and Fire Standards.
Own and improve the Information Security Management System, tools, policies, standards and governance.
Advise senior stakeholders on cyber risk, controls, remediation and investment priorities.
Coordinate cyber incident response, ensuring plans are tested and lessons embedded.
Build a positive cyber security culture through awareness, training and practical guidance.
About You:
You will be an experienced cyber security professional who can combine technical credibility with strong leadership, governance and communication skills. You will be confident translating complex cyber risks into clear, practical advice for both technical and non-technical audiences, and you will be comfortable influencing decisions at senior level.

Professional certifications such as ISO 27001, CISMP, CISM, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, ITIL or Microsoft security qualifications would be advantageous, but equivalent knowledge and experience are also valued.
Why Join Us:
