M Group Rail & Aviation is looking for a motivated Junior Planner to join our growing planning team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and varied infrastructure projects across the UK, supporting aviation, rail, defence, and civil engineering programmes.
If you're someone who enjoys problem solving, working with data, and learning new IT systems, this role will give you a strong foundation and fast-track your development in project controls.
As part of our planning team, you will support the delivery and management of project programmes by:
- Assisting with the creation and updating of project plans
- Supporting programme update workshops with project teams
- Producing reports and programme narratives for stakeholders
- Helping to develop project controls dashboards and reporting
- Analysing progress and identifying risks and opportunities
- Working across multiple live projects nationwide
You’ll gain exposure to real projects from day one and be supported by experienced planners to build your skills.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone driven, curious and eager to learn — attitude is just as important as experience.
Essential Skills
Desirable (but not essential)
- Exposure to Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
- Construction or engineering experience
- Degree or qualification in Construction, Engineering, or Project Management
