Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Operations Assistant Manager specialising in Events and Guarding to support the effective coordination and management of security operations across various events. This role involves overseeing security personnel, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. Duties
- Assist in planning and executing security arrangements for events of varying sizes and complexities.
- Supervise security personnel, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and professionally.
- Conduct regular surveillance to monitor event activities and identify potential security risks.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and operational activities for management review.
- Coordinate with event organisers, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services as required.
- Ensure all security staff are trained in first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures tailored to specific events.
- Oversee the maintenance of security equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance operations within a security or event management environment.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents accurately and clearly.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond effectively during emergencies.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
- Leadership qualities with experience supervising or managing teams of security personnel.

Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
