We are seeking a dedicated and reliable part-time School Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our educational premises. Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and equipment within the school premises
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety standards
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly
- Follow designated cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users of the school facilities
- Ability to work during designated hours with flexibility for occasional additional duties if required
