The Auto Barn is a venue set in the beautiful Test Valley countryside halfway between Stockbridge and Sutton Scotney and caters for breakfast, lunch, events, conferences, local gatherings and much more. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the finest fresh food with a keen eye for detail and a desire to perform to the highest level.
Our Sous Chef responsibilities will include:
- Ensure every guest interaction is positive and with the intention of getting them to have a return visit.
- Ensuring staff hours and rotas are managed.
- Undertake all Head Chef’s responsibilities where relevant/needed.
- All ordering ensuring budgets are adhered to and efficiency sourced.
- Inductions for all new starters in line with company procedure.
- Always be Health and Safety and food safety compliant and follow all procedures and policies in every aspect.
- Ensure excellent communication with other departments to aid in overall smooth service.
- Undertaking any reasonable management request.
This position is available immediately. Due to location own transport is needed.
