We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse to join us and help shape the future of our service.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires good communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our patients.
A Trainee applicant must be willing to attend college and complete coursework and observations to obtain a Dental Nursing qualification.
In-house mentoring will be provided by a supportive team.
Wage increases given upon successful completion of exams.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
- Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment plans and medical histories.
- Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
Requirements
- Must have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above or 4 and above.
- Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
- Excellent initiative and a pro-active approach to work
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
