The Opportunity
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, professional, and adaptable freelance ESOL/ TEFL/EAL teachers to join our teaching team. This role offers flexible, zero-hours work on-site at our city centre school, with teaching primarily scheduled between 9:30am and 3:45pm.
Teaching hours may vary depending on student numbers and seasonal demand, and may include occasional cover lessons.

Your Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons across a range of CEFR levels (A1–C2)
- Prepare learners for IELTS examinations (experience with OET desirable)
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit a wide range of ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and communicative classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team ethos
- Undertake cover teaching as required
Requirements
- CELTA or DELTA qualification (essential)
- Undergraduate degree (minimum requirement)
- Proven experience teaching across A1–C2 CEFR levels
- Experience teaching IELTS (OET and Young Learners experience desirable)
- Experience teaching students from a range of cultural and educational backgrounds
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to changing schedules
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team
- Enhanced DBS certificate (required)
