Job Description - What will you be doing?
As a Senior Health Care Assistant you will need to be confident in the administration of medication, reliable, flexible, friendly, punctual, caring and professional with excellent communication skills and have the ability to run a shift and work as part of a team.
This is a flexible agency position that enables you to pick and choose when and where you work each week. You will provided with an extremely competitive rate of pay and we will work with you to ensure both parties are satisfied with the schedule to be worked.
The successful candidate must be able to provide care and support to the best of their ability and have the following skills and experience:
- The ability to treat people with dignity and respect
- All aspects of continence support and personal care
- Administering medication
- Maintain good communication with staff and service users
- Develop effective working relationships
- Provide companionship and empathy
- Promote a person centred approach to care
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Shift leadership
Applicants will need to have a minimum of 6 months experience in the UK as a health care assistant and a NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care/equivalent qualification.
Enhanced DBS on the live update system would be preferred but not essential as a new DBS can be applied for.
